Summer of 2005

During the summer of 2005 Barb and I took our first motorcycle trip together. Other than falling over in Maupin, Oregon in the middle of the road on the first day, we had a wonderful time. Lucky for me, Barb really had a great time visiting small towns, eating in little cafes and staying primarily in "Mom and Pop" Motels. This was a bit of a stretch for her for some of the motels did not quite meet her standards, mine being much lower. We traveled as far east as Wall, South Dakota. All in all the trip lasted 17 days. During this trip we had to deal with heat, cold, and challenging road constuction.

Summer of 2006

This summer we plan to be on the road 25 days traveling as far east as Michigan. We plan to head west via Washington, Idaho, Montana, North Dakota, Minnesota, and the UP of Michigan. Our return trip will take us through South Dakota and Wyoming. We invite you to follow along day by day. We always welcome your prayers for a safe journey.
