DAY 24Monday July 10, 2006 We grabbed our early morning cup of coffee and headed up over Teton Pass. What a beautiful view from the top of the pass. (See Picture of Barb/Clark) We stopped in Victor, ID for a cup of coffee and on to Idaho Falls for breakfast. From there we headed quickley across southern ID and as we skirted Craters of the Moon we hit a massive road construction project which took us about an hour to go 7 miles. It was hot dusty and bumpy through this area but we did finally arrive at our destination, the Airport Inn, in Hailey. This is a 50's style motel! Hey, the price was $99.00 for a room. I do not like even paying this much but around Ketchum/Sun Valley most rooms were $150.00 or higher. We cleaned up and went on a nice visit to Sun Valley and Ketchum. The resort was in tip top shape in preparation for the Allen Corporations annual visit. The includes such weathly people as the Murdocks and Gates. We had a delicious dinner in the Pioneer Saloon in Ketchum. This is a must stop restaurant! Order the prime rib and you will know what I mean. Tomorrow we are off to Burns, OR. It seems like we are home when we start to think about being in Oregon again. Due to the 50's style motel we are staying in, Steve has placed himself on the motel selection committee for Burns. We go online and decide on a Best Westen for $71.00. It has a pool and metal sculptures out front. We plan to have breakfast in Boise at the Cracker Barrell. By now it is obvious that I never miss an opportunity to have a meal, particularly breakfast!
